今晚這個節目﹐我懷住一個好沉重的心情去主持。第一個原因是因為今天是汶川八級大地震一周年。第二個原因是比較貼身﹐就是我們市中心電台台長Evan Kapetanakis 先生前晚因為突發性心臟衰竭而離開了我們。他1984年就開始在市中心電台當義工﹐做到現在行政主任這個位置﹐一直對這個小電台不離不棄。現在要管理七個不同族裔的團隊﹐是一件絕不簡單的工作。他展示的不是埋怨﹐強權; 而是尊重﹐支持。我不覺得是因為他離去才紀念他的好。我一直也感受到他對我及中文組的關心和愛護。
原來一個人平常做的事是那麼重要。我們對一個人的回憶﹐往往只是一些軼事﹐原來就是這些點點滴滴﹐匯聚成珍貴的記憶。`
